抖落尘土，向上踩一步。
一天，一位农夫的驴掉进了一口井里。它可怜地叫了好几个钟头，农夫也一直在想办法救它。最后，农夫认为这头驴已经老了，反正也要把井盖上，因此根本就不值得救驴。
他请他的邻居们都来帮他。于是他们全都用铲子往井里填土。刚开始，驴明白他们在干什么，于是惊恐地叫了起来。后来，令每个人都惊讶的是，驴竟安静了下来。在又铲了几铲土之后，农夫往井里望去。他所看到的情景令他吃了一惊。令人惊讶的是，驴抖落了打在背上的土，每一铲土，它都向上踩一步。
农夫的邻居们继续把土铲在驴背上，驴都会把土抖落，继续向上踩一步。很快，人们惊讶地发现，驴一步步升了上来，踏出了井边，开心地跑开了！
生活正要将土铲在你身上，各种各样的土。从井里出来的诀窍在于抖落身上的土并向上踩一步。每一个“土堆”都是一块垫脚石。只要不停止，不放弃，我们就能从最深的井里出来。

The Donkey in the Pit:
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each "dirt dump" is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up!
Shake it off and take a step up.
