Nature has its own great beauty, yet does not speak of it, The yellow wax stone and other stone species on the banks of the Fuxiang River have the unspeakable beauty of natural art, and are essences of heaven and earth.

Gongmin Deng can write 2 to 8 Chinese characters in traditional script with bare eyes on each grain of rice, the strokes are as fine as hairs, up to more than 60 strokes on a grain of rice, this technique is complicated, the finished product is not easy, according to the shape of the stone on the rice writing poems and songs and inlay, The artwork is unique, the only product, the stone, and rice are integrated, giving people a kind of reverie, the taste is endless!
Gongmin Deng, who grew up loving calligraphy, got the idea to create a rice micro script because more than 20 years ago, his father told him a story about calligraphy. During the Ming Dynasty, Prince Biao Zhu's teacher, Lian Song, could write eight characters on rice. He was so impressed that he began to create his own "rice calligraphy" (rice micro calligraphy with wax stone inlay). His "rice micro script wax stone inlay" is written in traditional, seal, and regular script on rice of 5 to 7 mm each, and the smaller the practice, the more refined it becomes.
At present, Gongmin Deng can write 60-70 strokes of traditional Chinese characters, four to eight characters, on a single grain of rice. For example, the four characters of "潋灧夢湖" have more than 60 strokes, and the strokes are connected and tightly interlocked, which is amazing. His works have participated in the first Fuzhou Non-Foreign Heritage Exhibition, the first Jiangxi Provincial Cultural Fair Exhibition, Jiangxi Provincial "Power of Culture" Tour Exhibition, the 15th Shenzhen International Cultural Exchange Exhibition, and has a personal studio in Jinxi Zhuqiao Ancient Village.
Gongmin Deng does not use many tools, but the whole process of making them is not simple either. First, he fixed the rice with a small pair of tweezers, then wrote on the rice with a normal-sized brush, dried the ink with blue light, followed by gluing the rice grains to the stone, posing it in a nice shape, and then sealing the glue.
It is difficult to put down the writing brush, Each stroke is the perseverance and efforts of Deng Gonmin over the past 20 years! He has a dream to make his skill out of China and to the world through his efforts!
