寄北：原名陈红韵。1964年出生。加拿大著名写手。江西临川人。上海第二军医大学医学学士和加拿大新布朗威克大学分子生物系博士。多伦多大学博士后。现居温哥华。寄北自1995年开始写作，作品散见于国内外中英文报纸和多种电子杂志。部分散文、诗歌、和短篇小说被收录在中国或北美出版的多个选集或选本里。数篇散文和短篇小说在北美获奖。
